2015 Beauty Favourites!

It’s that time of the year between Christmas and new year where lets face it, we have no idea what we are doing with our lives and we have resorted to lounging on the sofa, watching telly and surfing the internet. So I am hoping to catch your eye online and I have written my 2015 beauty favourites! (Click on the product titles for links on where to buy them)
Tbh, I think if you have tried any Revolution palette, anyone could agree all of them go in your favourites as they are such good quality and value for money! However I chose this one as I use these colours the most! It includes all kinds of mauves, pinks and bronzes and I love using these colours. I have absolutely no faults with the revolution palettes and I love them so much I own about 7! 9 out of 10!
Favorites- Revolution Palette
I bought this about a year and a half ago and it was one of my favourites last year, this year and probably forever! I absolutely LOVE this sponge! It resembles the famous beauty blender and although I haven’t actually tried the beauty blender, I don’t think I really need to with this little baby. The shape has a flat edge and a rounded edge so you can use whatever and it makes my foundation look flawless! The idea is to dampen the sponge so that it doesn’t soak up any product and the product will go straight into your face, however you can also use it dry to soak up any product if you are looking particularly cakey in any areas! 10 out of 10 for this lil beauty!
Favorites- Real Techniques Sponge
I got my hands on one of these beauties a few months ago and I haven’t put it down since! I was missing out on so much! Everyone had one and I joined in late, but boy I am glad that a I did! You only need the smallest amount of product as it takes you so far and so easy to apy! I LOVE it! Check out my full review HERE! 8 out of 10!
Favorites- ABH Paint Pot
A lot of people may be using some kind of electronic cleansing brush such as the clarisonic but these can come with a hefty price, therefore that is why I haven’t bought myself one! However I came accross this the other day in primark and it’s basically the same thing but not electronic! You apply any cleansing scrub and brush your face and the makeup and dirt will be gone in minutes! My face felt SOO soft and smooth after and I love the way it makes my skin feel! 8 out of 10!
Favorites- PS Face Brush
Now if you want something simpler for your skincare routine, look no further. If anyone has not heard of this by now then I do not know where you have been for the last year! EVERYONE must have tried or at least heard of the raging reviews about this product! Say no to wipes and cleansers, this Micellar water will take off all your makeup in minutes! Just pour on a cotton pad, swipe and bam, your all done! It is so simple and effective, you all need this in your life! 9 out of 10!
Favorites- Micellar Water
This must be one of my all time favourite lipsticks! It is so creamy and pigmented and only £6.99! I could not praise this lipstick enough! It stays on for hours without any need to top it up and feels so moisturising on my lips! I have a full review of this coming soon so stay tuned! 9 out of 10!
Favorites- Loreal Lipstick
When I had my hair extensions in earlier in the year, I stupidly ruined them by getting them bleached! In my defence, I did get a strand test to see if the bleach would be okay and the hairdresser advised me it would be okay..it wasn’t! My beautiful hair had been ruined and I was given this Moroccan oil to help treat it! What a miracle this product was and it also smells AMAZING! It didn’t restore it completely (as I was on holiday with chlorine, sun, heat etc) but if I had been at home I think it would have worked even better! This product honestly helped so much and since then I have bought several more bottles! Perfect for dried out hair! 9 out of 10!
Favorites- Moroccan Oil
Another one of my favourite hair products is the argan smooth conditioner! My mum brought some home one day and I tried it and it was love at first wash! Fortunately she didn’t like it, which meant more for me hehe! My hair has never felt so soft and smooth after any conditioner ever. It is definitely the best one I have tried by a long shot, so this is one for you to pick up! 10 out of 10!
Favorites- Argan Smooth Conditioner
I love this eyeliner pen! I have been repurchasing it for years and it makes eye liner so simple and easy! We have all been there at some point struggling with eyeliner and getting them to be equal, even you makeup artists reading this. I am a qualified MUA and I am not afraid to admit it! But with this pen, it is so easy and eyeliner can be done in minutes! 8 out of 10!
Favorites- Collection 2000 Eyeliner Pen
These beauties are little pots of magic! They are creamy shadows that you could use on their own, or for dramatic impact, you could use it as a primer and add another powder shadow on top to build intensity! There are so many colours to choose from so whatever look you are creating, these Maybelline pots will be perfect to use! They are similar consistency to the MAC paint pots and such good quality! 9 out of 10!
Favorites- Maybelline 24hr Tattoo Cream Shadow
2015 has definitely seen the rise of brow mascara and the textured look it gives. Big and bold brows are definitely on the up and very popular, therefore this sleek brow mascara is perfect to add texture and thicker appearance of brows. It is available in light brown, dark brown, a blonde colour and also clear if you didn’t want to change the colour. I personally like to lighten my brows as I have very dark eyebrow hair, so I have the light brown and it is perfect for me! 8 out of 10!
Favorites- Sleek Brow Perfector

So. that was that for my beauty favourites, you can go back to your netflix binge now! Shout out to you if you happen to be watching Orphan Black! Probably one of my faovurite series ever so defo check it out!  Oh and Happy New Year! 🙂
