I started of by priming my eyes with the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in light (but any concealer will do) and I blended it in with my finger, because I personally think that using my finger for blending is better than a brush on the eye area. I then picked up my Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo cream shadow in gold and applied this to my inner tear duct area and brought it across the inner half of my lid.
I then used my Revolution palette and picked up a matte black shade, although it came across deep purple when I applied it, but it still worked so hey (I sprayed my brush with setting spray for more intensity) and packed this on the outer area of my lid. Picking up a warm pink shade from the same palette, I ran this across my crease as a transition shade by also blending in the black because we definitely don’t want any harsh lines with this look. I then kept going back and forth with the black colour to add intensity, then back again to the blending brush until I got the look I wanted.
I then applied my Barry M and put this on top of the gold cream shadow to really make it shimmer and pop. I also love the way the gold AND the silver both shine through! I then blended the glitter and the black together so that the lid looked seamless with no harsh lines. I then packed on a little more black on the outer V area of my eye to create an ombre look. Once I was happy with the eye shadow, I added some lashes (Forever 21) and applied some mascara to blend the lashes with my own (Estee Lauder). Then with that same black I applied this to my lower lash line and blended it into the shimmery inner tear duct.
Once I had done this I highlighted under my brow and finished of my face with foundation, concealer, contour and all that business we ladies need to do for a full glam look! And of course, you could pair it with a nude lip…buuut it’s new years eve so get that red lippy out! I don’t have one, but I would definitely recommend a red matte lipstick because whilst your pissed out of your head, at least your lippy will still be intact even though you aren’t 😉
