Bomber jackets- you honestly can’t go in any store and not find one now. Not that I’m complaining, I just bought four in one shopping trip! But I couldn’t resist these when I saw them. All bought from Primark, I picked up a thick beige one, a black and white thinner style one and two reversible style ones. So really I got 6 for the price of 4! Sweet!
Starting off with this thick beige jacket, it was defo the warmest out of all of them, because of it’s padding and material. I’m really loving the beige recently and it looks great when it’s contrast against darker colours.
This jacket has a much thinner satin-like material and can easily be worn all year round. I love the simplicity of the black and white, so it can be paired with almost anything. But at the same time, the pink detailing at the front creates a pop of colour if you wanna wear all black (which lets be honest, most of us do!)
This is my first reversible jacket. When I first saw these I was amazed. It was such a cool idea AND you get 2 for the price of one, which is such a result. Even more so that I loved both designs! The first was a very feminine design with an all over light pink colour and some beautiful flowery embroidery on the front and back. The other side of the jacket is much more neutral with the introduction of this gorgeous mauve colour, whilst still sticking to that pink theme. I also love the other side of this jacket, as I don’t have anything with these colours and I was excited to add it to my wardrobe. This jacket is perfect if you’re a bit of a girlie girl, as you can stick to your pink colours, but at the same time, still rock that 90’s street style.
My second reversible jacket rocks this black and red theme and reminded me a lot like those baseball jackets we had a few years ago. The first side is all black with some flower detailing on the front and back, just like the pink one. But this one striked me as much more gender neutral, therefore anyone could defo wear it. On the other side of the jacket was this beautiful red colour with black sleeves. I loved this as you could easily pair it with a black outfit and the red would make it stand out. It’s also such a lovely colour for this autumn/winter season and I think it looks great, especially with a gorgeous red lip!
I was so impressed with these jackets and considering they’re from Primark, the quality is amazing! Also extremely reasonable pricing! The reversible jackets and the beige jacket were retailed at £25, however I got them for £10 each at Lakeside in the sales. And the thinner jacket was £18 down to a fiver! What a bargain! Not sure what the prices are like in other Primark stores, but on the website they are still shown as full price. However, I reckon they are in the sales in all stores.
